QUIET ADDONS / PRIVACY
Privacy notice.
Website, support and software licensing. Updated 19 October 2026.
Responsible business.
Hein Maas te Weert is responsible for the personal data it processes for Quiet Addons. Contact support@quietaddons.com with privacy questions or requests.
When you visit this website.
The sales website is hosted on a Hostnet VPS managed through Plesk. Delivering and protecting a website can involve IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser information in hosting logs. Hosting log settings and retention are still being verified before commercial launch.
Optional website analytics.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits, popular pages, referral sources, devices and approximate locations. Google receives technical visit data when you allow analytics. We do not load the Google tag before permission, and advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our integration. Query strings and fragments are excluded from the page URL we configure. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; see the Google privacy policy. You can decline or withdraw using Cookie settings on every page. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not remove data already received by Google.
Support and correspondence.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer questions, investigate issues and provide requested support. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or licence keys.
The support page links to your email app. It does not send messages automatically or connect to an AI service. You decide what to send to support@quietaddons.com.
Purchases, accounts and licences.
Checkout and customer accounts are provided through Freemius. Order, contact, subscription and website activation information is used to deliver purchases, administer licences, provide updates and support, and handle billing enquiries. Freemius processes payment information through its services; do not send payment details to our support mailbox.
The installed plugin integrates the Freemius SDK for licensing and updates. Optional data sharing is separate from cancelling a subscription. Review the choices shown by the plugin and the Freemius privacy policy, including its processing outside the European Economic Area.
Purposes and legal grounds.
Requested pre-purchase assistance and customer support relate to entering into or performing an agreement. Required business records are processed to meet legal obligations. Website operation, security and handling other correspondence serve our legitimate interests in running and protecting the service. Where optional processing requires consent, it must be requested separately and can be withdrawn.
Retention and service providers.
We retain correspondence while needed to resolve the request, provide related customer support or handle a dispute. Business records subject to legal retention duties are kept for the applicable required period. Freemius describes its own retention and service providers in its privacy policy.
The precise hosting log retention, mailbox provider arrangements and international-transfer safeguards for those services still require operational confirmation. This notice will be completed with those facts before commercial launch.
Your choices and rights.
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing where applicable. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. Send your request to support@quietaddons.com; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
You may also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. For data controlled by Freemius, its privacy policy explains how to contact it directly.
Interactive demos.
Demo selections and calculator or Plan Finder answers are processed in the browser to show examples. The demo page does not submit those answers. These examples do not make decisions about eligibility for services or credit.
