What the website code does, and where external services begin.
Website scripts.
Google Analytics 4 is optional and loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Declining keeps the Google tag unloaded. Our integration does not enable advertising features. The Cookie settings button lets you change your choice. The support page does not collect a form submission or automatically send a message. Demo controls update the example in your browser.
Analytics storage.
We remember your consent choice in local storage (quiet-analytics-consent-v1) for up to 180 days. Accepted analytics uses first-party cookies with the quietanalytics prefix to distinguish visits, configured for up to 90 days without extending expiry on each visit. Declining after acceptance removes these cookies and reloads the page to stop the tag. Browser controls can also remove this storage. No analytics consent is required to browse or purchase.
External checkout and accounts.
Checkout and account links open Freemius services. Those services have their own cookies and privacy information. Read the Freemius privacy policy before using them.
Deployment verification.
A final inspection of cookies, browser storage and network requests on the deployed domain is still required before commercial launch. We have not yet verified a complete list of server-set cookies or their lifetimes. Optional tracking services must not be added without reviewing and updating these disclosures and any required consent controls.
Browser controls.
Your browser lets you review or delete cookies and stored site data. Blocking storage required by an external account service may affect that service. Questions: support@quietaddons.com.
